In and effort to anticipate and respond to the future educational needs of metropolitan Bakersfield’s growing community, the Kern Community College District, on behalf of Bakersfield College, has entered into an agreement with Bolthouse Properties for the aquisition of 126 acres along Highway 99, south of Bear Mountain Boulevard. Bolthouse Properties has agreed to donate 66 acres to the Kern Community College District in conjunction with the District’s purchase of an adjoining 60 acres, for a total campus site of 126 acres.
